General Product Information
Image Sign and Lighting address lights are illuminated, unswitched, low or regular voltage fixtures constructed of:
- A decorative bezel housing
- Prelamped fluorescent or low voltage lamp assembly (see fig. 1 or 6)
- A translucent lens with 4-inch numbers or letters (see fig. 1)
Dimensions:
5 inches to 7 inches in height, 10 inches in length, 2 to 2.5 inches in depth, depending on model selected
Lenses:
Translucent lenses are made of acrylic polymer. Lexan is also available for high traffic and commercial areas.
Wiring & Accessories:
Line voltage fixtures are complete with zero-start ballast, lamp socket, PL type 7 watt fluorescent bulb and all mounting hardware. Low Voltage fixtures contain 10 feet of 2/20 insulated bell wire, zinc plated terminals, fasteners, plastic anchors, and a prelamped light bracket with long-life #193 bulbs (9000 hours). Light fixtures are drilled for 3/8" I.P. threaded tubing if hard wiring is required (see fig. 6)
Low Voltage Transformers:
3 different accessory transformers are available:
- AA67 24v/15va for use in a lamp post (see fig. 2).
- AA68 18v/10va receptacle transformer, decoratively clad. Plugs into any convenient receptacle (see fig. 3)
- AA69 24v/10va junction box; typical door bell type, attaches to any
standard J-box k.o. (see fig. 4)
All transformers are UL/CSA coded. Low voltage fixtures operate best at 24v/10va. Lamp post units at 24v/15 v/a (see fig. 5). Power surge resisters are available where required.
Bezel/Light Housing:
Bezels are made from foundry cast metals or exterior grade injection molded polymers.
- #319 Aluminum
- 85.5.5.5 Bronze
- UV resistant acrylic, polystyrene or lexan
Metal finishes are highly polished and coated with an exterior grade acrylic polymer. Aluminum is available in an antique finish. Bronze is also made in an acid-washed verde and antique finish. Polymers are available in black, brown or white.
Numbers and Letters:
Numbers and letters readable to more than 125 feet.*
Helvetica characters are 4" high and available in materials to match each fixture and finish.
- Bronze; verde, antique, polished.
- Aluminum; antique, polished.
- Polymer; black, brown
- Vinyl; 4 mils black or brown
Metal numbers are attached with studs and machine nuts. Polymer numbers are attached with adhesive. Vinyl numbers are stick-on appliqués with a 15-year minimum life. All models are available preaddressed for a small service fee. Up to 8 4-inch vinyl numbers can be applied to one lens.

Installation:
Instructions are permanently attached to the inside of each light housing. The design of this fixture permits easy, inexpensive installation to almost any surface. An 800 number (Canada & U.S.) is marked in the fixture for immediate advice. If necessary, assistance is available.
Post Lights (see Fig. 5) Two units (Model #101 and #301) are attached to an accessory ladder rest. Instructions and accessory kits are readily available.
Recessed installations: Masonry walls, fences, and other surfaces can easily accommodate a recessed addresses light. Schematic and instructions available (see fig. 7)
Other Uses:
Low voltage emergency systems can be readily connected to this system for backup lighting.
Directional Signs:
Lenses can be painted, silk screened, or appliqués attached to produce illuminated information lights (see fig. 8).
